Delete it yourself, in the app
This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately. In Total Dram:
- Open Profile, then Settings
- Scroll to Danger Zone
- Tap Delete Account and confirm
You will be asked to confirm twice, because it cannot be undone. Once you confirm, your photographs are removed from storage and your account and its data are deleted.
Request deletion if you no longer have the app
If you have uninstalled Total Dram, or you cannot sign in, email privacy@totaldram.app from the address you signed up with, and ask us to delete your account.
Emailing from your sign-up address is how we confirm the request is yours. If you no longer have access to that address, write to us anyway and we will find another way to verify you.
We action deletion requests within 30 days, and in most cases within a few business days.
What gets deleted
Permanently, and without a recovery window:
- Your account, email address, password and display name
- Your collection, wishlist and shelves
- Photographs you took, including bottle photos and label scans
- Your taste preferences and onboarding answers
- Trip plans, price estimates you entered, and notification settings
- Push notification tokens for your devices
What is kept, and why
A small amount of community content stays, with your name removed so it is no longer linked to you:
- Your tasting notes, with their ratings and flavor tags, because they feed aggregate bottle ratings and other collectors' averages should not change retroactively when someone leaves
- Store sightings you reported, which other people may still be acting on
- Your consent log, anonymized. We keep a record that consent was given and withdrawn because privacy law requires us to be able to show it
- Your posts in the activity feed (bottles added, notes, check-ins), which are then deleted automatically 180 days after they were posted
- Reports you filedabout other people's content, so leaving cannot erase a report someone else still needs acted on
None of the above remains attributable to you. If you would rather these were erased entirely rather than anonymized, say so in your email and we will honor it where the law allows.
